From now until the end of the year I’m going to invite you to get a journal and do some writing every day.
Don’t worry if you think you don’t have time. You just need 10 minutes at the end of every day to do this part and just before bed is perfect. ( although you can pick any time to do it, the key is to be consistent with it.
A lot of us have difficulty seeing the good things we have already, the wins and accomplishments seem to be forgotten under the load of “not good enough” or “ they have more than me”.
So to get ready for the holiday season we want to consider what went right so you get into the mindset of worthiness. Avoid anything that’s not a win. We don’t care about what went wrong. That can wait.
Consider the past year and answer these questions.
What did you feel good about that happened?
What choices did you make that you’re proud of?
What small change (or big) were you able to make that made your life better?
Which person were you able to forgive? ( don’t worry if you discover you still have some resentments)
What new habit have you begun?
Who are your friends and what are the qualities in them that you admire?
Who do you love?
What coincidence happened when you least expected it?
What is your most cherished memory of this year?
What are you grateful for this year up until now?
